If they were only available as a storage container...then...then it'd be perfect.

I have to disagree with:
7 - Tail light and turn signal guards
6 - light bars
1 - Chrome. Some chrome looks good but too much is a no no

I am not part of the percentage that enhances the look of their jeep for asthetic purposes only, but I honestly don't see what the big deal is. Its YOUR vehicle, and you can do whatever you want with it. If someone wants to buy a wrangler, and make it sexy, and never offroad it, who gives a ****. You should be happy that they didn't decide to buy an escalade and drop dubs on it and blair annoying rap music on their 15 inch subs with 5000w amp in your ear. Let people do what they want to their personal belongings, worry about your own jeep.

It works beautifully for when I need a lot of light. You may not think that it looks cool, hell I may not think that it looks cool, but I really don't give a rip what ANYONE thinks, it's MY damn Jeep, I spent MY damn money on MY damn light bar and I think it's quite useful! I have used it for lighting up the area during trail repairs, chopping firewood, setting up camp and tormenting drunk buddies after they pass out in their tent.

It's even a lot of fun to drive up to the front of someone's Jeep at camp who has fallen asleep in their jeep, hit the lights and lay on the horn! It works nicely for pruning overhead brush and limbs on the trail and makes a mighty fine bug catcher as well.

EXCELLENT for spotting deer and chasing trespassers off the property!

Yea, light bars are KEWEL!!!!!

So STFU about it already!
Yeah
I wanted a lightbar ever since I seen dantes peak nothnig anyone says is gunna change mah mind. lights up high are awesome for when youre scouting windshield dont cut it

i dono.. i trailered my jeep when it was stock because it was a 4 hour drive to Moab and yes, i wanted a backup truck just in case.

No chrome, but hey.. I run a weld shop... I have put stainless parts on my jeep that i made just because rust really pisses me off... but some people think its chrome.. am i guilty?

i think I'm going to sandblast my front bumper and hot dip galvanize it.. but i guess i will paint over it black so not to be accused of that evil chrome

What makes owning a Jeep cool is that there are as many modifications and things you can add to it as a Honda Civic. I say, to each his own. If you want any of that stuff, knock yourself out.

I've been driving for 31 years and so far, chrome hasn't brought me home and black hasn't brought me back. In fact, the color/ finish of my vehicle has never gotten me anywhere. A well maintained driveline and good tires normally get me home. So, why does the way you dress up your jeep really matter to others?

Because people just like to find a reason to complain or make fun of others.

Yep, only reason I can think of, which is pretty IMHO.

i agree with a few of these, but for all of them there is at least one legitimate use. who can blame a guy for wanting to be prepared?

>trailers
guy might be towing it behind a vacation vehicle and doesnt want to add miles while not actually driving

>swampers and boggers
i agree, not for on-road use. but not everyone can afford to have a spare set of wheels and maybe when you see a guy with them he's on his way to the mud hole

>dome light clip
some people dont know where the fuse box is... these people should drive smart cars...

>taillight guard
you are unlikely to do any damage to your taillights, thus this is a cosmetic thing. i think they look good personally, though i'd never buy them

>light bars
i am a road rage case, i'd use them on drivers who piss me off, or if i wanted to shine some deer. i've contemplated this myself but i do agree that they would be the first thing ripped of on a trail

>snorkel
i wont be fording a river any time soon, but i have considered this too, as a way to introduce cold air to the engine. jeeps seem very hot under the hood to me.

>bumper mounted jack
be aware of where your vehicle is located relative to objects around you. maybe front bumper isnt a good place, but why not rear bumper? can't put it in the cargo area, thats full of beer and fishing gear

>20s on low pro
maybe not up north, but here in FL this is legitimate for a street jeep

>stickers
they suck

>chrome.
some people like it. i prefer black myself, but thats just a personal preference. maybe its dumb for a trail jeep (more crap to clean later) but looks good in moderation on a street jeep

I bought my Jeep used decked out in chrome (grill inserts, running boards, tube bumpers, tail light covers, whole 9). I wouldn't have put chrome on there if it was my choice, but I don't think it looks crappy and i'm not going to go through and change it all any time soon.

Its a daily driver and can handle any off roading to get me and my kayak to and from the fishing hole, so it works for me!

The one that everyone should agree on though is the light clips....

C'mon! Pull the #4 fuse like everyone says and put it back in if you want, dont waste money on little clips that do the same thing for free, thats just ignorance! That money could be put towards good mod's

But yes, everyones Jeeps are theirs and make what you want it, I may chuckle or question things sometimes but I dont ever mean it in a bad way, its just not something I would do. But maybe you like it, and thats cool with me!

I respectfully disagree. Jeep Wrangler vehicles really aren't meant to be used as mall crawlers. They are meant to go off-road. If you want to pretty something up then get a ride like a Cherokee, FJ or Tahoe. Wranglers have an off road heritage that many folk hold sacred. To not take your Wrangler off the pavement seems blasphemous to many.

I'm betting that Chrysler really doesn't care what you do with your Wrangler, as long as you pay for it.

Never really liked that, but it's cosmetic. You could probably put the Renegade body cladding in with that one. About as useful as tits on a boar.
