12 volt Portable Air Compressor

I am looking to purchase a new 12 volt Portable Air Compressor, any suggestions or recommendations? I am leaning toward Viair 450p auto.

I was looking @ that one, as well, till this thread came along (Amazon had a 1-day sale):

This link should help you decide, as well:

+1 for the MV-50....

Of all the crap I've put on my jeep, other than the ACE rails that I step on each time I get in/out... I've used this compressor the most. I use it to air my jeep tires up/down... I also use it to air my plane tires up with a 14V deep cycle marine battery. It's the same price as all those little crappy cigarette lighter compressors and blows all them away...

I bought the Viair 450p. Great little compressor. Last time I used it I aired my 4 36 inch Iroks and a buddies 4 35's and it never reached it's duty cycle. I bought it on sale from 4wp for 179.99. Don't buy the auto, the hose has a lever you have to squeeze while airing up. The 400p you lock it on the valve stem turn it on and walk away.

In most cases, the 400P is a great choice, and does have the clamp on chuck. It is 33% duty cycle which will handle most tires, even low pressure 37's. You can run it for about 35 minutes for filling tires up to 35 PSI.

We sell the 400P for $199 and have free shipping.
All we do is air compressors, so we know them well.... just let us know if you have any questions and we will be glad to help you out.
