1954 cj5

My grandpa gave me a 1954 cj5 I am currently working on it I would like some suggestions on what color I should paint it?

I was thinking either military green black or charchoal grey I could restore it with the origanal color presidential red too

Depends on what you're doing - is it going to be a stock looking, classic vehicle, or are you putting new axles, big tires, and a big engine in it?

If the first, go with the original colors, or try to not paint at all - you gotta love an old patina. If the second, do the opposite and paint it a modern bright color that you like.

This truck was a favorite from last year's SEMA show. All customized underneath, with a huge Viper engine, the whole works. But left almost untouched on the outside. That's a cool look.

I will try to get some pics on soon. Anyway it has a 4 cylinder i'm planing on puttin 35 x12.5 with a 15 inch rim
