1978 Cherokee Chief Axles in a TJ ?

Hello.

I could buy two 1978 Cherokee Chief D44 axles with new brakes and new axle shafts.
Now I have some questions...

How strong are these axles compared to my stock D30/D44 TJ axles?
How wide are these axles? Like my stock TJ axles?
Does my rear D44 ARB locker fit in these old D44 axles?
What kind of brakes are on these axles?
Does my ols steering linkage fit?
Did the Cherokee Chief have leaf springs on both axles or front coils?
Are there some kits to convert these axles for a TJ with coils?

Thanks!
nicolas-eric
