1995 wrangler wont go into gear while on or off

hey check this out i was going to work the other day about 20-25 miles from my house and when i turnd onto the road my work is on i couldnt shift into 1st or 2nd gear so when i got to work i didnt have anytime sheck it out , i was leaving work and i was able to get it into first and second but i had to force it then the rest of the gears were fine then i went through a small town in 3rd and tried to shift to 4th but i couldnt go into any gear at all so i pulled off the road and called my dad because he was on the way home from work to and helped me get it to the shop , but the weird thing was when you try putting it in gear it was a dead wall couldnt move the stick at all clutch still worked though it seemed like it was stuck in 3rd gear
