Oh another MPG tip:

Add more chrome. It has less wind resistance compared to paint. It just slides right over.

Put helium in the tires, that helps. Also get rid of any unnecessary weight. Get two cans of sea foam from your auto store or walmart and put a whole can into the oil. It will clean up sludge and junk inside the engine making it run smoother and gain a couple mpgs. Take half of the other can and pour it directly into the throttle body while its running. It will shut off when you do it, but don't worry, its supposed to do that. Just keep pouring it in, wait about 5 minutes, then restart the jeep and drive it. It will clean up intake and exhaust valves and fuel injectors which might get another mpg or two.

I don't get it.... So you're complaining that you "do not want a v6 girl jeep like everyone and their brother has", "That is why I have a hemi jeep and i refuse to drive a plain jane 6cyl. jeep. because everyone has one!" and "I would do that if i wanted to look like a freeken loser!" which you said in response to the quote below....

You do realize that knowledge is through experience, right? Which the base of that experience would be interaction and ownership... which wouldn't exist if something was unique.

In other words... quit contradicting yourself. Go get those chromed out 24" spinners and be different.
You really think anyone seeing you drive by is going to think "Oh, hey, that kid's got a hemi under the hood, he's why cooler than any other Wrangler owner out there"?! What planet are you from, man?

And if we're still rolling with your point that all of "us" 6Cyl. owners LOOK the same?! Uhhhm, I don't think you could be farther off on that one man. Wranglers are probably the most unique of all the vehicles out there and saying that "we all look alike" couldn't be farther from the truth. I've NEVER seen a Wrangler that looked exactly like mine. Sure, same color, general look, lift, blah blah... But nothing's ever matched up 100%, which is a lot more than I can say for any other vehicle model out there.

Oh, and I know you said you wouldn't be taking it off road, but there's people with "crappy" I-6s and even 4Cyls. that would stomp the p!$$ out of you on the trails. If I were you I wouldn't talk crap about something you OBVIOUSLY know absolutely nothing about. You don't want to go on the trails, why do you need a bigger, more powerful engine that burns up more gas and then complain about the fuel mileage? If you wanted a good highway driver, with good mileage, you'd trade a real Jeeper for their stock 4cyl. and call it good.

Seriously... With your attitude on things and evidently skewed perception of the world, I don't think that a Wrangler is the right vehicle for you. Thank god you're selling it.

And I must commend you on your punctuation.

Your rig physically appears no different than any other TJ driving down the road. I would probably stare at it because of the chrome decorations and street tires. Now if you popped the hood in a parking lot then I'd be impressed.

Your 17k valuation is off as many have suggested in the classified ad. 10k is reasonable unless you have locked D60s

15 to 17 mpg is really good. I have a Hemi 1500 truck w/ cylinder deactivation and will get 18-19 on highway, 12-13 in town.

My LS7 (see I didn't want any old Jeep w/ a Hemi...) gets 9 mpg when I take friends out for joyrides. It will get 13.5-14 w/ mostly highway driving.

On the classified add, you need to detail/list your axles, transfer case, transmission ect. You can say it does 13's all day in the quarter but people will think it's running on D 35's w/ a slip yoke if you're not supplying info on the supporting mods made along w/ the engine. If you don't know, take pics of the parts, post em, and someone can probably tell you what you have.

Also, once you get more of your build info figured, something like your Jeep may get more action in the Pirate classifieds. Don't go there without your stuff together, if you think folks will pull your chain here, it's another world over there.

Thanks, but if ppl are serious in buying it they can ask questions like that. So far ppl have been just drooling over it and wishing they have the money to buy it. It doesnt matter if i list all the stuff its not gunna change anything from ppl that say they dont have the money or telling me its only worth 12k, which im not stupid i know what its worth an its not dropping ill just keep it, to ppl saying oh ya i have the money now that you list the mods on it. Thanks anyway

Reading this post made my head hurt, and your hemi jeep looks like everyone else's.
Well except for the hemi sticker which I am sure most people think is fake and laugh.
