1998 Wrangler Front Coil Springs

Hello,
My Dad has a 1998 Jeep Wrangler. He recently put a snowplow on it and now we need to beef up the front end alittle bit. We are putting in some Timbren Rubber Spring inserts and some new shocks. My question is this: I need to remove the existing rubber inside the coil spring, does anyone know how that is connected? Is it threaded?
Thanks,
John

The rubber spacer at the top of the coil is just held in place by the coil itself and a tight fit. The yellowish bump stop rubber is pressed fit in, and there is a bolt inside the cup to allow the cup to be removed as well.
