Auto or standard?

My auto got about 18 on 31's. But mine's a yj. Are you looking at a yj or tj?

Miles depend on how well it's been taken care of. I have heard of 200k and I've heard of some crapping out before 100k.

If you are worried about mileage, maybe a lifted jeep on 33's isn't the right move for you.

There really isn't that much of an MPG difference between the 4cyl and the 6. The 4cyl just winds up working twice as hard to make the same speed, and wastes fuel you would otherwise think would be saved by running the smaller engine. The problem is that a Jeep has all the aerodynamics of a refrigerator box on wheels.

The best "tip" I could give you would be, enjoy your Jeep. You will learn about it as you go. No need to ask others for any warnings, just enjoy.
