I own a tj but if I were going to buy a new jk I would get the 4door. I'm single with no kids and I still wish I had more
room. I can only fit 2 girls in my jeep on trips to the beach and bearly have room for my cooler and chairs. Unless your going to be doing serious off roading on very tight trails I don't think you can beat the longer wheelbase and room in the JK unlimited.

I know a lot of things, most of them are only correct in my own head...
Better to be judged by twelve then carried by six. I'm sure this is going to get me in trouble down the line

I think it depends on you ability to withstand critisizm and not give a (crap).

If ya get a JK....most of the owners who drive previous generations will hate on you even though some of them secretly envy you....not all...just some.

If you get a 4-door...the two door folks will hate on you for trying to be an SUV and abandoning the true spriti of the Wrangler. They will compare you to a Minivan or a club car. Personally, as my avitar indicates, I think the 4dr JKreminds me of the WW2 Dodge Command Car. But thats just how it looks to me. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

You're single. 2-door should be sufficient. If you had a family or if you haul around a bunch of crap the way I do...4-door may be more helpful.

2-Door is more maneuverable. 4-door had slightly improved towing capacity (its about the wheel base)

In short...it all depends on what YOU want to do with it. In my humble opinion, there is VERY VERY little that a 2-door can do that a 4-door cannot. Come to think of it...theres not all that much that a 4-door can do that a 2-door cannot.

Flip a coin. Either way. you will not be disappointed.

If you are desperate for acceptance and need to be loved by all....get a CJ5 with a manual tranny and OEM wheels and tires. Everybody loves a classic and that'll shut them up from trying to convince you that no matter what you do or choose for your purposes...theirs is better.

I like the 2 door Wrangler a little better because the hardtop looks to be easyer to deal with! I want a Rubicon yellow with black top and leather, real sweet.
