2006 vs 2007

ok, opinions please these jeeps are pretty much the same, 10,000 miles more on one, should I go with the v6 or straight? I know there are other differences thats why I am posting for opinions

thanks,
Terry

Strait 6's are typically really easy to work on and are typically fairly strong and reliable.

V6's are not nearly as proven as an I-6 and the I-6 will outlast it bigtime

The Toyota Supra's that everyone has 1000+ HP uses an I6. One of Ford's best motors is the 4.9L 300 cu. in. I6. I've got the 4.9 and its got about 220K on it.

2 examples of proven I6's.

The only similarity between the 06 and 07 is that they both have 4 wheels--

The new (?) JK's started in '07 and although the V6 isn't very high in horsepower, it's been used by Chrysler, for over 20 years, good dependable motor

Just decide if you want a JK type jeep or not, auto or stick !!

But if you are looking for opinions - get the '06. I just can't get used to the JKs. Plus most aftermarket parts are more expensive for them.

Sorry, but I'm calling BS on this one. Chrysler has been using the 3.8 since the early 90's and it has been extremely reliable.
