2007 Ultimate Adventure JK

How about this... AVE is working for Four Wheeler Magazine on their upcoming Ultimate Adventure 2007 vehicle. They are building a completely custom JK thats housing a 5.9L Cummins Turbo Diesel!

I just read the article in the magazine, and get this. They use a Dodge Ram MegaCab frame that was getting sent to the crusher(unexplained as to why) and chopped a 4 foot section out of it to shorten it down to the JK's 116" wheel base.

Here are some shots from AEV's site with the motor installed.

So basically, they have a 1-Ton Dodge truck with a 4-Door Wrangler body on it. This thing is going to be soo sweet once done!

I haven't a clue....

But I guess they already had the adventure, as I found some pics of the completed project.... and its sporting some of BFG's new KM2 Mud-Terrains.

If this is the same Jeep, they also showed it off, at Barnwell mtn. in Gilmer, TX. It runs on 42" tires.......awesome build.

That would be it! Did ya get to run the trails with them?

Those tires are sick - KM2 M/T's... made from a similar compound as the Krawler's.

No, I wasn't there, that weekend. I didn't even hear about it, until one of our club members posted these shots, on our club web site. It sure would have been neat to see that thing in action.

They need to lose that ugly ass front bumper. With something different out front I'd say that is one sick ass machine.

I know - the Fab4 front bumpers are hideous. They need a stubby up there.

I love the video of the 2006 UA where the bumper came flying off the FabFours jeep. They said "the weld broke on the frame". Uh huh...sure it did.

Ha funny stuff about the bumpers. My ex brother in law is one of the owners of that company. If you knew how much they paid to be the bumper sponsor of the Ultimate Adventure you'd know why there monster heavy ass bumpers are on those rigs.

Note, I did say ex bro in law. I don't like any of their products either. TOOO BIG.
