$$$$$$$$$$$$$$:zap:
I plan on wheeling mine all year, but when winter 2008 comes around, she will be going under the knife for some major work.
As of lastnight, I have scored a Dana 60 for the front that has already been narrowed to 65", it has 513 gears and a detroit locker plus its a kingpin, the pumpkin has already been turned up to help with the driveline angles. It is also the high pinion reverse rotation. I also scored a rear Dana 70 that has been worked over with all the goodies.
She will be getting Some sort of coils, maybe kingcoils or whatever I can find the best deal on.
The best thing she will be getting is a LS1. I have already found a source that may be able to hook me up with all the goodies on it as well. I will be putting a turbo 350 behind it. I will have to have my Atlas II sent off for a new shaft so that it will all work together.
Then, She will be getting 4 linked all the way around.
Plus, I will be having to get new beadlocks since my 6 lug wheels will not work.
Once the year is over, I will have to sale my rear 60 and my Dana44 with warn shafts and CTM's and 513 gears and locker.
I will also be saling my 4 cylinder and the Auto trannie that I have hooked to it.
So I guess you could say that I am EXCITED !!!! I have already been having trouble sleeping just thinking about it..
put the 4.7 stroker in
rear 8.8
RE 4.5"
Tube fenders
Paint it Olive drab
Tidy up the inside
New seats with 5 pt harness
New 33's or 34's
wheel the hell out of it
1. Getting new rotors and drums so I can fix the brake pulsations myself. Hill Kelly Jeep had 5 attempts to fix it under warranty. They're not allowed within 100 feet of it anymore.:flipoff:
2. BFG 31 x 10.50 All Terrain KO's
3. A set of these.
4. Hopefully enough left of my income tax return to get a hardtop.
my alloys are definitely lighter than my steel wheels
i wanna add a front bumper with some lights and maybe some trail corners. eventually tube fenders and a new rear axle (prolly 8.8) with a regear up front. with that also comes some bigger tires and i'll have to find a way to clear those bigger tires. also, sye w/ cv shaft and the rear adjustable uppers and tons of armor.
I have compiled a great deal of items on the quadratec website thanks to mom and dad's gift certificate from Christmas.
Some items include:
Best Top Jeep Logo Seat Covers
Mag Light Flash Light Holder
Straps (To get in out of the Jeep)
Saddlebags (I carry a lot of equipment from work)
Spare Tire Cover
48' Jack (You never know)
Air Intake (To come later in 08')
Extra bolt (Missing one on my spare tire, it eeks me everytime I look at it)
Probably a couple of other things but I can't remember right now. I know some of the stuff I may get off of ebay just because its cheaper but for convience I like to order from quadratec because I get everything within like 2days since I live like a state and a half from the facility.
Any other suggestions what I should get? I work as an engineer during the week and serve my country on selected weekends.
