2008 Wrangler X issues?

I'm looking at a couple of 2008 X Unlimiteds and I wanted to know if there are any issues I should know about with this model?
Also, when I take one off roading is there anything I should watch out for compared to the 99 model I used to have?

I bought 2008 x 60.000 mile
It has been burning 3/4 quart every 1000 miles,
I just switched to 10/30 and looks promising !
5/20
Seems to burn,no noticeable smoke!

Right On ! I switched over to 10-30 "Extended Milage" oil from Penzoil (Copper bottle) It really helped with the oil usage... !
Before I changed last time I used "Sea Foam" in the oil for 100 miles, drained it...Oil was still clean...
I then changed to Castrol Extended Milage oil (Green Bottle ) It also seems to be working. Next change I may try Valvolene, see if any of these oils are any better on Consumption than another...
Mine ( 07) has 41K miles.... I bought it used.
Good luck !! "BH"
