2010 or 2011 Stock Radio in 2005?

I want to be able to connect my iPod to my head unit, and there is currently a stock head unit. I would like to keep it a jeep head unit, and I know the newer models have mp3 hooks available. Would a newer Jeep head unit fit in a 2005 Rocky Mountain Wrangler with capable iPod hookup? Or are there any jeep stock head units with that option that would fit? I know I would probably need a new housing if it would fit, or to make it fit if it could. Please any help would be great! Thanks!

What i did was just went to bestbuy and purchased an ipod adaptor for the current stock radio. it was about 75 but compared to a new radio it was exactly what i needed to get the job done

For $100 you can get a new head unit with all the features you want, install it and have a much better sounding stereo than the stock units......

Thanks, I'll go look at the adapters. I know the after market radios increase sound quality, but I want to keep the car with the original unit. Plus I think after market radios look cheap. Thank you for the replies!
