2013 emits alot of heat from under vehicle

Does anyone else notice this on the '13 model year..... I drive home from work ... About 15 miles of both town and highway driving.... There just seems to be an extraordinary amount of heat that comes from under neath and the engine compartment when I get out and walk past it..... Never noticed it with my '10 model year.

I've noticed that since I started installing a bunch of MetalCloak parts. I didn't think much of it, because my TJ also runs hot. I ca't compare it to a '10.

I have a '13 but I haven't notice that. Have you done any mods to it?

Exhaust gas temperature for a gasoline powered Jeep hasn't changed, so it has to be placement of exhaust piping, of catalytic converters, resonators, and mufflers.

Materials engineering has changed some, but very likely not enough for a human to notice temperature changes by perceived thermal radiation.

I don't think I've ever been around a Jeep that wasn't on the hot side. My XJ was that way, so I guess I don't notice it on the JK. Jeeps ain't all that big and the engine, transmission and exhaust have to dissipate the heat. Plus, they sit higher than most vehicles.
