33s now i want 35s :(

So I got this 33x12.5 MUDs around 2 weeks ago I was so happy but now they look small what do u think ????

So do I wait till there wort less or I save for a month and get my big nitto trailsgrapplers 35x12.50/17 or 15??....

Definitely go with 35s, I don't know what it is but they seem to be the magic number for jks with dana 30 front axles. (which I'm assuming your X is). If you had a 44 front axle, then I'd recomend just going 37. My wife ran 33s while I was running 35s, and had a much harder time doing the same obstacles. We quickly upgraded her's to 35s (and a 4" lift which I would also highly recommend). You should be able to get a decent price for your 33s on CL since there are a lot of TJs YJs CJs etc who are kinda limited to them due to their stock axle strength.

As for 15s or 17s, That really depends on a couple key things: is your jeep a daily driver? If so definitely go with 17s as they are lighter and will not affect your mileage as much. If you use your jeep for primarily offroad, then go with 15s but keep in mind that not all 15s will clear JK brake rotors.

Either way, I've heard nothing but good things about trail grapplers, also KM2s are supposed to be good. My wife and I run Procome Xtreme all terrains on 17s but they are daily drivers so road-ability, mileage, and wear are of huge concern. They're good long lasting cheap tires that don't make a sound on the road.

Thank you so much man.... And yes I will save for a month and upgrade to 35 nitto trails and 17s thanks .. Now I'm 100% in and I will upgrade, u know when I got my 33s I was really gating 35 but the guy in the Goodyear shop convince me to go with 33 lol

well...to me it doesnt look like you could flex a 35 very well...especially if you disconnect.

Heres the clearance i have on my tj with 35's

How does that work? A 15" wheel is going to weigh less than a 17" wheel of the same kind. Tires that fit bigger rims also typically have thicker sidewall to support them. Thicker sidewall= more weight.

Well I might be mistaken but I thought that the rubber that replaces the wheel spoke length weighs more. I supposed we'd have to do some direct comparisons with some wheels and tires of the same type, but that is what I was told.

I think it looks good. It depends on what your plans are, if you are going to do some serious offroading then it might be time for a lift and some bigger tires.

Dang yea I'm getting a teraflex full lift 2.5 and a 1.25 inch body spacers is 2 weeks but now my 33s look small and I love the 35 look but I don't know if I wait or just buy them now? What will u do
