4 wd comanche

how come these are like non excistent. i've seen a couple 2 wd's, but the 4x4's can't be found. i'd like to buy one. i love my xj daily driver, but sometimes i want a pick up to haul junk. i'd love to find a 4.0 4x4 5spd comanche, i even did a search on all of autotrader, and none came up. none on ebay.

anyone know where they're hiding?

how much? i saw a nice clean one in colorado (way too far) didn't sell for 1500 bux. that's the thing, when someone has a clean one, it has a ton of miles (which is fine) but they want a mint.

If you are really interested I have a 90 that I want to sell, 4WD 4.0 auto, and I think it's the heavy half or what ever they called it. Bed is excellent, I think it has new fenders, a lot of new paint, rockers gone on the driver's side. My uncle bought it new and gave it to my youngest son last spring, I've put new brakes, new tierods, ect on the front end, muffler, new gas tank, and finally said enough and bought him a newer Blazer that hopefully I won't have to work on so much. Anyway I was going to ask $1K for it, needs a radiator I think and the rear main is leaking. Also comes with a cap. Shoot me a PM if you're interested, I'd say you're about 4 hours drive away.

a few years back I was trying to sell my comanche I could give it away
I tried to get $2,000 out of it
the most I was able to get offered for it was $500
heres a couple of pics of it

it had a 5.5" lift rock krawler long arm kit up front with rubicon express coils 33" tires locked in the rear with a D44 and 4.56 gears front and rear
a rebuilt ax15 trans with a rebuilt 4.0 motor
new paint job and a spray in bedliner
the bench seat was replaced with XJ front seats and center console and no rust on it

I ended up parting it out I tore it all down and sold everything the only thing that went to the crusher was the cab

I paid $500... only needed a new clutch. It's a stick, but when I get the room/time it's getting a new motor w/ auto and some suspension upgrades.

Only pics I have of it. It's been sitting for some time now, needs a new fuel pump and tank(dented).
