4x4 question.....

I have lost my owners manual many years ago but have always wondered these two questions. I have a 1995 Wrangler, auto transmission, with a 4 banger.

1. Is there a right and wrong way to engage the 4 wheel drive? I know how I do it just wasn't sure if there was a specific way???

2. What's the top speed while in 4x4?

First off, it's a part time system, so you don't want to be in 4WD on pavement. You'll need to check with the YJ guys for 4H (newer systems are shift on the fly), but for 4L you need to ne stopped or barely rolling with either your clutch in or the trans in neutral.

By the way you can pick up a owners manual on ebay for just about anything. I got one for my 01 TJ.
