84 chevy 350 converted to fuel injection

okay I have a 84 chevy short wheelbase pick up with a 350. I would like to incorporate the 350 in my 97 TJ what I'm wanting to know is what all do I have to do to convert it to fuel injection? and if it is even worth messing with

Check to see if Howell has a throttle body injection kit for it.

I'm guessing you found them by now, but here is a link to the Howell kit: GM TBI Products :: Complete TBI Kits :: TBI KIT: 4 barrel TBI kit for Small Block V8 Engines - Howell Engine Developments, Inc.

Howell also has other EFI products for GM. TBI is relatively inexpensive; I'm putting a Howell TBI kit on my AMC 360 in my Jeep CJ5

[QUOTE=OklaTJ;2368120It's 2050.00 for that kit I think I'll keep looking[/QUOTE]

I read $1700, but that still sounds high to me. It's crazy, 'cuz the AMC kit is ALL GM parts, and it is much cheaper ($1200, for the basic unit). It sounds crazy that a GM kit for a GM engine is more expensive. Goofy

You may be better off using the other suggestion to scavenge a used GM unit, but that would probably be more difficult. Unless i'm way off base, most other FI kits I have seen are more expensive (sometimes MUCH more) than the Howell TBI units.
