Don't have a pic of the dash but I'll take on later. I do know that the front is a cj because the headlights are round and everyother 89 yj I've seen has squares

Back in he 70's the Renegade package included a 304 V-8. I would love to see Jeep put a V-8 in a new JK and call it a Renegade.

Haha alright I'll take some pics tonight when I get off work. And another question I've recently been doing alot of work underneath the jeep and there is a substantial amount of rust underneath and I was wondering if any of you guys think it's worth trying to restore or not? I'm 18 years old getting ready fir college and not sure if it's worth it. It has 206,xxx miles

It all depends on how bad the rust is. In my opinion if its in more than one spot really bad, your better off swapping frames than trying to patch it.

It's not too bad on the frame. More on other spots than the frame like the passenger side floor board has a big rusted hole

Well its all up to you really....any jeep is repairable, it just depends on how much time your willing to spend on it, and how many parts your willing to throw at it. Me? I wouldn't mess with a rusted anything, its so much better to replace it with something that's not rusty. Tubs usually go for 800-1000 for a rust free one around here.

Yes dear :P

Actually its 3 down the line right now. Have to get the ole ladys truck done first, then back to my tow rig....but I might sneak the jeep in too

Lwolf what it appears you have is a YJ that someone made a renegade out of. I just picked up a parter out jeep today 450 miles away that has a near flawless tub on it. Its almost as good as the one I have for myself. I will have to look at it closer when I get it off the frame, but I would say she is gonna be in the 1200-1400 dollar range since its already been professionally rhinolined and painted 05 Corvette yellow
