I'm looking to buy a new jeep wrangler but it is having an issue with the flywheel before I buy this jeep I'm trying to get an idea on what a shop would charge me to replace a flywheel before I buy it?
It wont be cheap. The flywheel is located inbetween the engine and transmission. Which would mean the shop needs to remove the transmission. Or at least unbolt it form the engine.
It would probably cost less than $200 for the parts but probably more than $500 for labor.
I would say anywhere between $500-1000...maybe more depending on the shop. Probably better off looking into another jeep.
