Just got back from my first serious wheeling trip. Travis (Teejay) and I headed up to Silver lake for a day-trip on Friday. Here are a few pics

I need to go there! Did the sand bog you down at all? And what pressure did you run in the tires to get traction?

13 psi

and we did have a bit of sand trouble, nothing major, never had to dig or tow. Next time I'm bringing mine up too. It was too much to drive 3 hours after working a 12 hour shift and then drive back. I was a zombie as is.

This place rocks, but I had to get down under 10 psi to get anywhere with those hills!

And yes, RIP, you need to get Scarlett and your Monkey A$$ up here someday, but make sure to let me know well in advance so I can arrange to join in the festivities!

yeah, in hindsight, I wish i would have aired-down a little more. But since it was my first time out, i wasn't sure how far down I could safely go (especially on my brand-new tyres.)
