A jeep trailer. Of sorts.

I was driving around during lunch and saw this. 1971 jeep trailer as it's described on the window sign.

A more accurate description might say 1971 postal jeep cut up and redneckized into a trailer like vehicle.

I thought if share. For the good of the community.

I can't fathom it ever looking good....but I've been called a realist before.

that was my first thought, well second thought, the first was "WTF". Doesn't speak too well for its trailering abilities seeing it on a trailer.

i kinda like it...
fix up the rust and re paint, then throw in a mini heater and you would have a nice portable little shack for adventures into the wilderness when its cold out.

Put a small lift on it with some 33's and a bar-b-que pit and your set.

Poor little DJ.

Can't see it being worth a **** as a trailer... I barely got enough room for seats. Might be a decent start to rig up a streamline or a pop up though, and there's probably a shorty D44 30 spline under it still

What's he askin for it? Paid $400 for mine, but it had the other half and was in decent running condition...

500.00

I thought it'd be better with all its parts still, rather than hacked up and shotty welded into a trailer like contraption. if you're gonna hack one up, do what schnutzy did (I think that's who did it...but then it got stolen)

In hindsight, I should have given her 5 or 6 hundred for it It's the funnest thing I've ever owned.

Had a friend in college who's Dad won 6 DJ's in an auction. We had the best demo derby in his Dad's field for the low price of $225 for all 6 jeeps. Tough little beasts, took a while to destroy 'em. Was a good fraternity outing...break stuff and drink beer...lol

Haha, for the Moab trip, eh? I still don't think I'll be going, not sure I wanna put my JK through that.

You should get a WK, toss the XJ.

Put a pair of seats back in it and use it for jeep training as you tow somebody in it!
