About to buy emergency top- Need opinions

I have the bestop frameless top and as many of you know, I can't store it in the jeep. I'm going to get an emergency top to keep with me. I'm looking at these two:

QuadraTop 11174 1031 - QuadraTop Emergency Top for 04-06 Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited - Quadratec

http://www.quadratec.com/products/11174_0021_07.htm

Anyone ever used these? How's the quality? Are there any better options?

Is like to hear as well. I have a safari and just can't bring myself to take off the hard top with seat of being in the flash rain storms. Getting the soft top that is best of both worlds is not in my budget now.

I have been very happy with that emergency top for the few times I used it. But you have to strap it down tight if it's a wicked storm and you have no cover. I'm still bailing water out of my Jeep from the last storm, but I think that monsoon was too much for any emergency top. Overall, it is a good buy and it fits nice in the little carrying bag.

Do you have the quadratop or the pavement ends top?

It looks like the quadratop from your link. It's flimsy and rolls up into a bag. It says you can drive with it on at slow speeds, but I wouldn't.

I have the same problem; hardtop being stored a few miles away and no emergency top, yet. I am thinking about blue tarping it with some guide out to tent poles and wait out the rain. Maybe a cooler with a few beverages in the kit also.
