Add light-up air guage to SPOD?

I order my SPOD w/ the stock air gauge. I've connected it to my compressor so that when airing up my tires, I can use the gauge to know when they're at the PSI that I want. It works great, but I'm already hating the stock gauge as it has no backlight which sucks at night so I have to shine a light no it.

Has anyone upgraded the gauge to one that is backlit? A standard needle style gauge is fine but I'm also thinking a digital one would look nice and be easier to read.

Looking so see if this is possible and if so, how did you wire up the gauge? I will probably call SPOD tomorrow to see if they recommend anything but as they're closed I figured I'd try here.

thanks

I have the Viair Gauge in mine. I didn't buy this kit, I used the gauge and wiring and everything that came with the Heavy Duty OBA Kit. Either way you do it, if you'r SPod switches light up with the rest of the dash, you can tap one of those for the gauge light. If not, you'll have to tap that switched hot and run it up the gauge. Should be pretty straight forward to hook everything up. Let me know if you have any other questions!

I just talked to SPOD and I've run into a snag. Apparently, if you order the switch panel with built-in gauge (which I did) they use a 1.25" gauge, rather than the standard 2 1/16" gauge. They said others have called with the same question and no one is aware of an illuminated 1.25" gauge. If I can find one, I'm good. If not, SPOD said I can send them my switch panel along with a 2 1/16" gauge of my choice and they'll put it into their panel that can handle that size.

I asked why they don't use the standard size for the panel I got and they said it was designed a long time ago. Why they haven't upgraded the design is beyond me.
