Additives to Fluids

I am a new owner of a 91 YJ and looking to do the fluids all around so I know they are clean and done. I am wondering if anyone has had good luck with any additives in the transmission gear oil (mine is a 5 spd), or engine, transfer case, differentials fluids. I want to keep it running for many more years and trails to come.

If you are using quality fluids and lubricants, buying unspecified additives is a waste of money.

X2, the only exception to this is if your are having some lifter noise, then add some Marvel Mystery oil, one (1) pint. Run your engine for about 100 miles and then change it when hot. The additive will help to clean out your engine and has been used successfully for years to help with noisy lifters.
Other than this, additives are not needed!

I really like "restore" which is an oil additive...cut down my lifter noise and overall smoothed everything out in my 99. I added it for the first time at around 90k and have been doing so since.

I'm not usually into the "additives" but figured why not give it a shot...money back if you dont notice anything and made in usa so i gave it a shot. Worked great for me.

Other than this, i havent used additives.

How often do you use it? My lifters are ticking pretty good these days. I'd love to quiet them down for a while until I'm ready to rebuild her.
