advice on gearing

Just picked up my first Wrangler. Can't wait to start the mods.

01 Sahara, 4.0, 5 speed manual, 30x9.5, 3.73, Dana 30 front/44 rear (can that be right?). I am planning to get Duratrac 31s this week.

This is not my DD. Mostly driven on local/country roads (somewhat hilly), 25% highway. Would like to eventually do some off-road. Averaging about 15mpg (+/-.3). More concerned about low end power and passing power on hwy than mpg.

It currently runs 2500rpm @ 60 in 4th, 2900 @ 70 in 4th, 2250 @ at 70 in 5th.

I have read a number of posts about gearing, including the gear ratio/tire size charts found in a number of posts, but I am still unsure about what is right for my vehicle and intended use in view of current performance--4.11, 4.56, something else?

Any and all advice will be appreciated.

the 3.73s you have should be just fine.
