Aftermarket at dealership vs. aftermarket store

Looking to buy a new jeep and wanted it all done up. Lift kit, larger wheels and tires, bumpers, side steps, lighting etc. Should I do it through the dealership or buy a stripped down jeep and take to aftermarket jeep 4x4 shop and let them do it all?

Research and do the stuff yourself. That's the best part about being a Jeep owner, taking pride in something you built, fabbed or worked on... not look at what the shop did.

Beside if the dealer or shop does all the work, how are you going to fix it if something breaks or goes wrong on the trail.
