Air Bag

I have an 07 Unlimited I was driving home from picking up my Hardtop and the air bag warning came on. I pulled over and turned off the Jeep. After a few mins I restarted the Jeep the light went off like it was suppose to then after driving a few miles it came back on any ideas as to why this is happening..??

Did you have your hardtop put on ? I know when i had mine installed, they bent a plug and couldn't get the jeep to run.

It's the clock spring that's making the air bag warning light come on...

2007 JKs had a known clockspring problem. Take it to the dealer and see if it is one of the affected ones. If it is it will be covered.

I agree with Super and Gecko. If i remember right there was a TSB on the clocksprings and something about extending the warrenty coverage on them due to problems.
