Almost time....

I'm getting super fired up... the Phase I pieces are all on order (well, almost) and have started arriving.

Shocks, Exhaust Spacer, and Procal Module have arrived, Wheels have shipped, Lift Kit ships Tuesday, and my GF and I are going to the shop on Monday to make the final decision on Tires (I'm down to two choices), so I can get that ordered.

I'm hoping that by Mid February, Phase I will be complete!! Maybe then the 24hr obsession will at least lighten up a little bit! hahahaha

I can't wait to post some pics... I just can't post pics of the stocker.. too silly looking compared to all the awesome Jeeps here.

dammit... I haven't even finished this post and I'm already thinking about what Phase II will entail... hahahaha what have I gotten myself into?!

You'll be okay for awhile. Then the withdrawal will set in, and you'll need to order something, if only a new (better) pair of grab handles.

What two tires have you narrowed it down to?

And don't be ashamed to post a pic of your Jeep before the mods. A photo of mine is floating around here, somewhere. We all started that way.

I'm down to the Duratrac in 285 or the Cooper STT in 295. I'm pretty sure I want the 295's, but I want to see the 285's in person, as I'd rather buy the Duratracs, but I won't do it if I don't like the way they look.

Just came off Shoe Creek & Crab Tree Falls Trails (lookem up on YouTube) and all I can say is Thank the Lord for a car-wash

Can't go wrong with either tire, IMO. And yeah, I went low...look what I was working with.

W...that photo's from the day I drove my Jeep off the dealer's lot. If it had been dirty I'd have made them clean it.

Im guessing that you're considering these tires for price reasons?

Check out the fierce attitude tires. My friend runs them and loves them! You can get them at sams club for a great price!

But Cooper Discover STT's are also great tires. I used to run them on my XJ and loved them. Now I run KM2's on my JK and also love them but I think Im going with the fierce attitudes next because they are like 2/3's the price of KM2's and seem to be very comparable. Just not a big name like BFG.

BTW.... WTF is an exhaust spacer?!?!

It's something you apparently have to have on a 2012 JK if you are putting a lift kit on. If I understand correctly, the new exhaust layout is different, and something can rub, so this kit corrects / prevents that.
