Ammo Can Tool Box

Mounted an ammo can to my rear tire carrier.

Removed 2 bolts from my tire carrier.

Used couple 2x4 fence brackets to leave enough space for the keeper pin behind the ammo can.

Fits just under the tail light.

Used steel and rubber washer on the inside and outside of the can to keep things water tight. Will probably add a lock later.

nice job. I can not remember where I saw it (maybe cheaper than dirt) they have a set up for locking the ammo boxes.

Looks good and it's a nice fit. I would defiinately put a lock on it since it says "Tools" and thieves like tools.

Very nice. But here in SoCal you might as well have stenciled "steal me" on the box. I guarantee that would not last 15 minutes in a parking lot here. I use an ammo crate for rockets in the back of my YJ. Fits perfectly and once the tailgate is closed it cant be taken out.

Cool idea, I like it. True though, I moved away from San Diego 5 years ago. Blink and your stuff will be gone... ask me how I know. I'd take the tools stencil off and then lock it. Paint it crinkle black and it will blend in more.
