Another BIG lesson to pass on....

I'm gonna list some words to help searches on this..... If this is a repost I couldn't find it....delte or modify at will...makes no difference to me.

Not shifting correctly. Gears pop out. Won't stay in gear.

When you do your lift kit, the gear shifter may move backwards just enough to keep it from going into a gear properly. For me it was 2nd gear....I had to hold it in gear or it would not engage or pop out.

Turns out when I dropped the tranny it moved back just enough that the bottom gearshift boot was to tight and not allowing the gear shift lever back far enough to shift properly.

All ya gotta do is back it up an inch or so drill a few holes and screw it all back down and problem is solved...

Let me know if I didn't explain it wellk enough..
