It really depends on the snow wet, frozen or powder, first thing you want to do is air way down I run 8-10 psi. Bring a shovel and recovery gear.
For powder you need to keep your momentum and don't stop in the deep stuff just plow your way through, frozen snow your best bet is to stay on top of the snow and don't dig holes, deep wet snow just sucks and Have not mastered it yet.
