If you just want black you could probably just clean it real good and then spray it with a few coats of krylon fusion.

i thought about spraying it, but wonder how it will hold up;;;hate to ruin a new top
was hoping someone had tried it out on an old top and could let me know how it held up after taking it off and on a few times..

my best luck i know is someone in my area would want to trade....but not many yjs here---1 of the main reason,s i have a yj, i like being different--lol

thanks

i would say it is the cheapest one out there ..it has no name on it or what it is made of...just a soft top..

i would go look at it better but it is in the garage 15 miles away..

thanks

Where do you live? I wouldn't mind a spice colored top if you're close by. I have half doors.

EDIT: Nevermind, I see you're in KY. A bit far to drive and too cold to go without the top long enough to ship it. Sorry. Good luck.

Some materials can be dyed, some can't.... I would just take it by an upholstery place and ask them
