Anyone Going to Jeep Beach?

Just wondering if any of you were going to Jeep Beach this year. It's an awesome time. I went for the first time last year and had a blast. It's May 11th - 15th. www.jeepbeach.com

I guess if you live in Florida you have to have a beach party. Not too many mountains to climb. What do you guys do there? I looked at the website and didn't see any activities posted.

Last year was my first year and it was a blast. Thursday was a scavenger hunt around Daytona and you had to put your collected tickets in a raffle barrel on Friday for a drawing. Friday's events were a meet and greet with some of the vendors at the host hotel and a Show N Shine at the local Jeep dealer. Saturday is the "main" event at Daytona Speedway. There were many many vendors and the whole infield of the speedway were man made obstacle courses. Some for stock/mild and some for extreme. The courses were very well done and it was a lot of fun. Sunday was the beach parade. Everyone staged on the beach and then paraded down Daytona Beach. It was quite a few miles of jeeps! Then back to the host hotel for food and a party. There, they drew the raffle winners and gave away a ton of cool stuff. Can't wait till this year. It's going to be awesome I'm sure.

I sent an email to the people in the site asking what went in and time frames... I have not heard back from them. I am too curious as to what goes in in Thursday so I know if I need to take off or not... Will the vendors be out the whole time?? Is the money just for the raffels?? Is it per jeep or per person??

I am heading over Thursday after work just to avoid the Friday drive. Jeep show and sometimes a ride is Friday with friends just hanging around and parties that night. The big Daytona Speedway event is Saturday with probably more parties that night. The beach drive is Sunday morning followed by a party. Fee is per Jeep and gets you into all events all days.

Went shopping yesterday and picked up a new bikini and worked on getting some sun today and managed to avoid the lobster burn

Soo ready for this vacation!
