Anyone know of an aftermarket metal dash for newer Jeeps?

I pulled the carpet out of my Jeep and bedlinned the tub; when I think of a Jeep I think utilitarian, and the carpet just didn't fit.

By the same token I don't much like the plastic dash (or the door panells). Does anyone know of a maker of an aftermarket metal dashboard for newer Jeeps? I would love to have a painted metal dashboard in my TJ. Anyone ever customized a metal dash from another vehicle to fit a TJ?

I'll see if I can find it but a friend modded a YJ metal dash with quite a bit of ease.

I really want to do this as well, I love the look of the CJ style dash, and now that I have a Tuffy center console, the plastic dash is killing me. So I did some research, and found that is basically a huge PITA. And I couldn't find anyone who did it entirely, but this is the best I found: Custom 2001 Jeep Wrangler Military Project - Page 38 - JeepForum.com

Basically, its a pain because of all the crap that's behind the dashes on TJ's and newer. YJ's its a lot easier (from my research, I have no personal experience in this)

Found someone who offers this. He offers options for customization as well. I do not know anyone who has done business with him so I can't speak to the quality, but the pics look really good. Pricing is reasonable too.

TJ full dash

TJ Flat Dash

Company is called DD Fabrication. Link is: DOUBLEDFAB.COM

Thses are for a TJ, but he also has YJ dashes.
