At 250 bucks it has me interested. Has anyone built the kit? How was the quality? My main concern is how the upper brackets attach to the tub. Two bolts and a backing plate seem very likely to bend the hell out of the tub if it ever makes hard contact with something.

You are correct in that assumption. The best way to run a setup like this is to run it in tandem with corner guards.

Well I have these diamond plate corner guards that were on it when I bought it. I don't think they would hold up as well as regular guards. Maybe I can fab some plates and a couple tubes and tie it in to the roll cage.
