I think Tiny did something like this awhile back with some bungie cords. Maybe she'll chime in and save you a couple of bucks.

in the paper catalog theres a picture of the cords in use and what the do exactly.

Supposed to be for half doors, controls the amount your zippered window opens. I'll try to find the pic.

Only $30 for the pair.

If you install stuff like that like me you'd end up with it around your neck, arms and legs but no where near the jeep.

Never really run with my windows partially open. Usually zip them all the way. Now the problem I want to solve is the completely unzipped open passenger window. Two weeks ago I was headed home from the mountains with the back rolled up and both fronts zipped down. All of a sudden the passenger window swung out and began beating itself to death on the outside of the passenger half door. Fun ride home with one and on the wheel and one holding the top of the passenger window flap!

If you move the passenger seat to the right spot with the window between it and the door you won't have that problem.
