Army Ranger Jeep at SEMA

I saw this Wrangler at SEMA and fell in love. Turns out, for a $25 donation to an Army Ranger fund you can enter for a chance to win this Jeep. Check it out. I spoke with Roy Ward for well over an hour about Jeeps and guns. They got my my $25.

WAR Jeep

And yes those are real bullet holes. They wanted authentic so they shot the Jeep with a 9mm before it was Rhino lined. Took pictures of impact. Lined Jeep then airbrushed powder res back on.

I am in no way affiliated with Xtreme Outfitters and just passing on a unique opportunity.

I wonder if the guns come with it and be functional. Even just one of them.

A neat outtake of the COD wrangler, but I think it's a little cheesy and overdone. I'm surprised those rear 240B mounts can actually support the weight of the weapon. The crude mounts are simply slid into the door hinges.

I really wish they had gone with a different choice of wheels. The whole war chariot styling is working for it but then the bling-bling wheels kill it.

I think you guys are missing the big picture. This rig is being raffled off to raise money for injured Army Rangers. The shop that built it has donated the Jeep. Yes they will make money from the marketing but they are also raising awareness. Buy a ticket, win a Jeep and feel good about it.

Isn't the Browning M2 a factory option?

The Jeep was built for gamers.

Depending on the injury, Army Rangers would be medically retired with a pension, plus medical benefits for life. I seriously doubt this money will go to any one of them.

A very close friend is a 2nd Bat Ranger. He was shot just over a year ago through the back. He has recovered and rejoined his unit. Knowing what his family went through, both financially and emotionally, even if a little of this goes to help the soldier and their family it is worth it. Lets try to stay positive.

this statement would apply to anyone in the military, not just a ranger. and for those of you who dont know the scroll is a way of life, the tab is just a school.

the term army ranger has been adopted by the big army. it is to loosely used. the only guys i consider rangers are the guys who fall under the 75th's command. the guys who went to the school from the big army are ranger qualified, not in a ranger battalion. if you take a look at the website that was posted it deals with the ranger umbrella(everyone who has been through the school as well as the guys in regiment). im not trying to start an argument here. i just wish people could could tell the difference between the two.
