Avoid this site!!!

So i decided to be lazy recently and not build my own in seat sub box. I found this neat little site that said they would custom build it for me. So i ordered one using paypal. On the site they said it would take about 7 days to build the box then they would contact me about shipping it.......that was June 3rd. Soo after a week or so i emailed them to ask the status on my order, no answer. So i waited 4 days then emailed both their customer service and sales emails ....still no response so today i called hoping perhaps they were just very busy and forgot to answer...yeah naive i know.... and I get this lovely little message from the phone computer telling me that that number is currently unavailable soo I filed a paypal dispute claim and guess i'll see if that yield any results. I just wanted to let everyone here know STAY AWAY FROM OFFROADTOYSTORE.COM

IIRC I read somewhere that those guys were out of business months ago. Also, I believe that whole company consisted of two guys working out of a garage. No shit.

I had the same problem, I bought $3500 worth of lift and parts from them and they were a pain to deal with. I got the best price but it took forever to get the parts and their customer service it terrible. You just can't get hold of them. I have a friend that is going through the same thing right now. He ordered the Currie steering and it has been almost a month. They took out the money almost immediately. He called Currie and they said that it isn't a problem on their part because they have the items in stock. He tried to get hold of Off Road Toy Store by email and by phone but they won't answer. He finally filed a fraud suit on them through his bank.

I wonder if Tread Lightly cares that their name is attached to a company like this?

Wow.... I've made several purchases from them and always got great service, good prices, and fast shipping. They are attached to 33 engineering some how too.

I guess I just extreamly lucky. Hopefully you can work things out with them.
