I signed into trails on the Badge of Honor app and it said my badges would be here in 8-12 weeks. Well that time has passed and there is still no badges. Have you faced this same problem? From what it sounds like Jeep does not have this program too organized.
Yep, I did the whole process over the summer. When I reached out to them they said that the badges were on back order. I actually just emailed them last week asking if the backorder was filled and they replied that they sent them out at the end of last week and my name was on the list... How true that is, who knows I guess ill just have to wait and find out
This program is a mess. Myself and several other Jeepers went to Drummond Island a couple years ago and it took and act of God to get the badges. Last Aug, we went to Redbird SRA as they have 4 badges available. Out of the group only 1 has received all the badges. I received all but one. 7 months later, after 4 phone calls (with people who knew nothing about the program) and 15 emails I was told:
"The process is extremely tedious. Everything is outsourced and takes time. Remember too that this is a free program which we absorb 100% of the costs"
Honestly, I have no response except how hard can it be to pull something from a shelf and put it in the mail? Apparently, it is very difficult as I've found out this has been happening since the program was started. Also, apparently, since it is free they really don't care about supporting the program.
Several of us are making a 10 hour trip to Windrock Park in TN over spring break to get more badges. However, I'm not holding my breath. We'll probably not make any more trips based on this program.
At this point, my persistance in getting these badges is less about the badges than it is about customer service.
Working on figuring out how I bring visibility to the issues around this program so they get fixed.
I got off the phone with Jeep customer service and after telling them all sorts of information about the vehicle they told me to send an email to the badge of honor program. I guess I should not have my hopes up of receiving my badges any time soon after reading some of these posts.
I checked into Windrock for three badges. It was a fun afternoon ride, hope you enjoy it!
Ive been emailing back and forth with Todd Sam the marketing guy in charge of the program, every time he changes his story. He tells me they were shipped out last week, and my name was on the list, then 10 days later I ask if tracking info was available and he said hes waiting on the tracking file, then a week later I ask again for tracking and he tells me the shipping company got busy with other jobs and haven't actually shipped, and they should be shipped soon... I originally submitted for the badge in early August of 2015, so hopefully Ill have it by this august?
Looks good. I had planned to make a road trip to Colorado this spring break to trail ride out there only to find out that the trails are closed this time of year. Now looking at heading to Utah, not sure if those will be open either. I will just have to look into it.
I received mine for Redbird SRA Trials #3, #4, #14, & #25. It took about 6 weeks.
I need to replace my gas tank armor though. It did an amazing job protecting the fuel tank! Go Jeep!!
This program has had nothing but problems since they started it: Can't check into the trail, check in to the trail but no record, badges sent but never received, no credit for doing the trail, trail leader board all screwed up...........
Great idea for a promotion but very poor execution, supposed to create good will but most people are just frustrated with Jeep - opposite effect they want.
I hope they fix it by the time we are out there. I am going to be in Sedona, then Moab, and then onto Durango / Ouray. We are going to do a few trails.
What an adventure it will be. I visited Moab back in March, still nothing heard from the Badge of Honor program but its still early. You will have lots of badges to earn out there.
We went to Sedona at spring break. It is an awesome place. Trails are not difficult, at least the ones we went on, but the scenery was awesome. I told my wife it was the red version of Ouray. Have a great trip
Does anyone have a phone number for the Badge of Honor customer service? I drove Ophir Pass this week and I checked-in but my app does not show that I checked-in.
Well, I e-mailed the badge of honor people and they had no record of me checking-in on the Ophir Pass. The cell phone service in that area is very poor due to the trail being pretty far out into the mountains. Luckily, they we able to manually check me in. My badge should be in sometimes in the next 2 or 3 months.
I had the same problem with Ophir Pass, there just isnt any service out there. I did however check into Poughkeepsie Gulch so that one should be here within the next month. I do have proof that I rode on Ophir so I will just have to email them.
So I have a question that may/may not have already been answered. I want to do the "Badge of Honour" trails, but I have no smart phone and as I'm reading this thread, some of the trails have no cell service anyway. How can I let the BOH folks know that I have been on a trail?
I would advise calling Jeep customer service and explaining the issue. Also there is a badge of honor email address which you could probably get them trough that way. They will probably require some sort of proof.
Take,a,picture of the Jeep at the trail entrance or at the pass, with the sign. Send via email.
