I want to know if any of you have any advice for removing the badges from my XJ. I want to remove things without damaging the paint. Any best practices out there?
they make bumper sticker remover, which basically eats the glue, if you can get enough behind the badge it should be good. but the heat/fishing line way sounds good too... either way, you'll still have to clean the left over glue residue off. not sure what to use, maybe gas?
Something to be said for living just a few blocks from the Jet Docks! I missed the last boat of the season todayby about 2 minutes, we were planning to go chow on some Frosty Pizza, but we were too late!
mineral spirits or deisel fuel? whatever you do use you might want to re-wax afterward.
