Well, I'm not a guy, but I don't bash the JKs either.
I know a lot of people do, but that's only because they haven't seen them in action.

Generally when I first meet someone in a stock JK, I try to get them interested in wheelin it. Some of the best folks I hang out with are JK owners and I can't keep up with them!

Lots of people don't know, I had to educate my17 year old daughter about the jeep wave. And my wife refuses to, so she can keep driving the BMW and stay out of my wrangler.

My theory with the jk owners is that the jeep in recent years has seemed to have lost its off road roots and is Being marketed to the soccer moms and whatnot therefore they are just not aware of the whole culture that surrounds jeeps and there heritage.

There are more jk's than any other model where I live and the majority have their tinted windows rolled up and ac blasting. I know it's gotta be a pain in the butt to remove that giant top and 4 doors. Guess what I'm getting at it's not really a jeep at all, but a truck with a removable top that no one wants the headache to remove. So no waves for you anymore JK owners, you've had your chance. If you have a Jk and wave I'll wave back as long as you have your windows rolled down. Lol

Only been a "Jeeper" for a month & 2 days now, but I'm a waver I've also been a Harley guy for a while, so the wave is nothing new. From my observation, most who don't return the wave, regardless of what generation their jeep is, all have one thing in common - they're all on their damn phones! I'd say it's almost 80% - 90% of non-wavers have know idea I'm passing them because their yapping way. I mean come-on, I'm door-less in a complete downpour and initiating a wave, just a simple finger flex would be nice.
