i think that is a good idea. there are sooooooo many bed liners out there. i've used a couple different products on various parts of my jeep. i just recently herculined the inside of my tj. it has been a month and all is still good.
in the original tub on my cj i used the roll on duplicolor. it worked well and i liked it, but now that i've used herculiner i wouldn't use duplicolor on a body tub. i also used the left over duplicolor on the rollcage in my cj. i painted it on and it is holding up just fine. i've had it on there for 6 months or so now. but you also have to take into consideration that the rollcage does not see as much foot traffic as the inside of the body tub.
i have also used the duplicolor spray on liner. i was not at all impressed. i used this on my cj7 rocker guards. it was very thin (even for a spray paint). the next time i have them off i am going to use herculiner.
i have never had anything on my jeep professionally rhino lined, but my dad has this in the bed of his pick up. he had it done in january 2004 and it has lasted the abuse that we throw at it on a daily basis. we use this truck for our business and have 1/2 ton pallets scrape across it on a everyday. whenever we pick up machines for repair they go in there too. everything from lawn mowers to ride on trowels.
