belt squeeling

What's up with my squeeling belt?

A while ago changed water pump, thermostat, new belt. Put it all back together and it sounded great.

Few weeks later my pulley bearing went out. I replaced it, put belt back on as usual, but now the belt squeels like crazy for a minute when I start it up. Only happens when engine is warm, not in mornings.

I loosened it up a bit and even sprayed some WD on it. No change. I don't have a tensioner thingy, just "eyeballing it".

Is it still too tight? Buy some belt dressing?

Help -- I can't sneak out of work early because everyone in the office knows it's me out there driving away!

Thanks!

Belt dressing will ruin your belt in short order. Odd that it squeals when it warms up. Idk what is causing it but I do know that Gatorbacks are great belts.... You might try one and see if it helps.
