Im looking for a pair of lights for about $150-$200 for a pair. I plan on mounting them to the windshield hinges. I want more of a long distance light than a fog light. Those dual purpose lights sound too good to be true and i have never seen them in the field. If anyone swears by any of the lights they use I would love to get 1st hand opinions! Ive never run a pair of aux lights before and my friends run the cruddy autozone special's that are mostly just oversized flashlights so im not sure what kind to get. Any advice would be appreciated
I'm not sure about what kind are the best. Sometimes that's a matter of opinion.I can tell you I went with the KC HiLites 121 slimlite. They have a 130w spot beam. I found them on Amazon for $168.00 I have not used them off-road yet, but on a dark highway, they light it up pretty darn good.
