best place to get a rear differential and ring and pinion

Ive got a family friend that is going to have to re-place the rear-end in his 04 wrangler it has the 3.73 gear ratio.He needs the rear differential and the ring and pion I'd appreciate any advice you guys can give because i'm in the dark as to where the best place to get one would be

You may also check out Randy's R&P. Many places get there stuff from them so why not cut out the middle man.

does he need a ring and pinion or a rear end? if his rear end is shot completly and needs rebuilt then when he gets another one it should have a good r&p in it. if he needs a R&P but the rest of the axle is good he needs to take it to the shop for repairs in which case the shop will provide it. from your question it would seem you have never done one of these before so it will be a complicated fix for you to perform on your own.

For the average person any neighborhood transmission shop would consider this an easy fix.

Its for a friend of mine... I drive a nissan xterra (let the blasting begin lol)
anyways, from what he has told me he needs the rear chunk and a new ring and pinion is what he is hunting
