Best time to buy!

I am thinking about buying a Wrangler and I was just wondering when to buy..

A lot of people say "end of the Month" is good because the dealers are willing to drop the price a bit to make a sale before the month is over..

I am thinking that since the 2012's are hitting the lots that I should wait until they arrive and look for a 2011 towards the end of the month.

Also, how do you find out the Invoice for a vehicle? Is it on the sticker? I know the MSRP is..

Thanks in advance

you can find it at places like Timing can apply when they are willing to deal or not. It shouldn't matter much with proper negotiation. Your best bet would be to join as has been mentioned on here thousands of times in order to get 1% below invoice.

I would hope that is a good starting point and I plan on bringing that up. I would ask for 2% under first and explain that "Im getting 1% under no matter what, WHERE I get it from will determine the rest." and shop around a bit. I think theres at least 3 Jeep dealers within 50 miles.

A 1% is still 1%

Thanks for the reply btw.

It's crazy because I saw some 2011 Sport models for under $20k on Autotrader, but not anymore.. I wonder if they sold!

Yep, negotiation is the key. The worst thing that can happen is they say no. Usually, I go to a few places at once and haggle them all as much as I can. Then I take one place's offer to another dealer and see if they will beat that. If so, you can take the new offer back to the previous dealer and so forth, etc...

A little back and forth usually does wonders at getting the price down.
