Best year for Jeep?

I'm looking to buy a Jeep wrangler eventually and have been searching around a lot wanted to know what the best year is? any help is muchhhh appreciated

But to answer your question 99 is a good year!

I bought a 2006.Figured all the bugs are out,got a 6 speed,cruise.Last of the classic look.Also most have lower mileage on odo.

I would have bought an '06 if i could have found a good deal, but they are all priced crazy.

95! The last YJ, no airbags, no SUV feel, and utility. Your mileage may vary.... LOL

Actually, I really wanted no airbags, galvanized frame, 6cyl, fuel injection, and a utility feel. Now I'm looking at an 06' with an auto for the missus. She can't drive a stick :P

95 still got leaf springs (cheaper to lift), more leg room for driver, both frame, tub are galvanized.

I was lucky 3 months ago and found a 2005 with all the goodies, 22k miles, babied for $22k. I've heard that was a good deal. Love it so far!

if your getting the tj/lj model go for the lj. they have d44s and longer frame. plus they made them for only 2 years so they kinda rare. or you could go with the jk's. theyre pretty darn good stock

same here...low mileage 06 tj sport 6sp.
don't many 05/06 4.0L I6 got the laughing monkey scream?

i bought a 2006 65th anniversary edition with 52K for $13K. love it. ii prefer TJ's. JK's are too damn $$$$ to customize.
