Bikini top question

Hello everyone,

I have had my 03 tj for about 4 months now and I am looking to get some accessories for the upcoming summer. My first purchase will be some kind of bikini top. I am really confused on what brand to get and what to look for. Im sure this has been asked lots of times, but I searched and couldnt find what I was looking for. So can someone please educate me.

I like the Bestop version I have. I've had both the strapless and strapped kind. The strapped kind I think only work on CJs and YJs with the sport cage. That said, no problems with either and they do the job of keeping rain and sun off your head.

Welcome to the Forum Bryan

I have the Bestop bikini top and to be honest, when I use it, I feel like I might as well just put the top up. I recently purchased the Spiderweb Shade and I love it. It keeps the sun off but doesn't make you feel closed in. If it starts to rain, you can put your top up over it. I leave it on year round. It does not require a header bar, is quick to install and costs about half as much as a bikini top.

I have the Safari top by Bestop and the Bikini Top by Bestop. They are both great tops but the Safari top is much easier to strap on than the bikini. Just a side note: Make sure you get the non drill header for the top, unless you plan on the bikini to be your everyday top.

I have a Bestop which I bought with the thought that should it rain when I out riding topless I could put it on and get some protection. I have never used it yet.
